Laurie has proven her dedication to Lane County residents by delivering real results and moving us forward. And she recognizes that there is still work to be done. Committed to building upon her first-term accomplishments, Laurie pledges to address the issues that matter most to you.

Every human has the right to affordable, safe, and secure housing. We are obligated to name and address the humanitarian crisis that is homelessness in Lane County.

Access to care involves providing, promoting, and protecting the conditions that assure a thriving community. We all have a role in our communities’ health and safety.

Climate change is the greatest threat we face. No matter how large or small, we must all take immediate collective action to make a difference for the quality of our lives and the planet we leave for all future generations.

In addition to these initiatives, Laurie’s advocacy extends to promoting greater elections transparency and ballot access; increasing affordable quality childcare options; combating racism and anti-Semitism; and championing the LGBTQIA+ community.
 

As a responsible steward of public assets, she prioritizes cost-effectiveness without compromising essential services. You can count on Laurie to tirelessly pursue the solutions we need to improve operational efficiency and to enhance community health and safety for all.
